Captive sugar gliders need exercise. This is paramount to maintain mental and physical health. The most important thing to include in your cage is an exercise wheel.

The SOS Rescue Wheel-Uses a wodent wheel shell in combination with a ball-bearing and lacks a crossbar.

Lastly, the Wodent Wheel is another exercise wheel used for sugar gliders but keep in mind it has a crossbar and does not allow feces to fall through because it does not have a mesh track.

Each of these wheel can be lined with a sandpaper strip to help maintain nails. These are often called Trim Tracks.
