I have determined that the baby is actually a female. She appears to still be nursing from the mother. I have tried to give her water and soft foods but she has not yet taken any. She is able now to climb all over the cage including hanging from the ceiling. When I take her out to play, she doesnt move around too much yet. I can put her on the floor of the cage and she will quickly run up the side of the cage back to her nest. Often times she will climb on the back of mom or dad for a quick ride to the nest. I guess she doesnt feel safe outside home yet. I am still amazed at the expediant growth rate of the baby.
