what color is the fur on the tip of the tail? On a standart grey, the tip should be black, if it's not, the glider likely had the tip of the tail shorten/amputated, if it is indeed black, then it's just genetic.

i have yet to see a short tail glider, tails are used for stearing during gliding so are important to the gliders. I cant say for sure if its true or not, but I would put it under "if it sounds to far out to be true I would count it as a lie unless I could prove its true" I used this with the boys when they came home from school in trouble, but said they did nothing wrong. ok sure....
