I store my egg shells in the freezer after washing them. After a time I will pour them out into a baking sheet and run them in the oven at 300F for an hour. As they cool you can crush them a little in the pan. Pour 1/2 cup or so into a small coffee grinder and run until very fine. A little goes a very long way.
