ok I know you are all getting tired of hearing the food question. I think it would be easier just to set them on the table with me at meal time and let them pick and choose what they want.
I have had mail questions to me about food,
1. Will someone make a list of commercial glider food and where it can be bought?
2. Can a glider be over fed? What is the right weight for a glider?
3. If one feeds glideraid, omnivore pellets, repcal, some of the other commercial feeds, when is one over doing it on the viatimns and such.
4. If bugs are one of there natural foods, what kind of bug can be fed without worring about to much fat?
5. If seeds and nuts are natural, how much of those can they eat. Are we talking one or two a night, none, a handful.

These seem to be the most asked questions on the page and the most mailed questions to me. I have to admit I don't know the answers, but would love to. I have had my gliders just a little over a month now. I like this page, don't understand all of Susans jokes, I thought they really needed baths,(sorry), glad Bourban set me staight. I liked the clothes line though.
Here is my schedule on feeding, leadbeters, about a heaping teaspoon, fruits, watermelon, honeydew, cantalope, apples, mango, papaya, star fruit, kiwi, they don't get this every nigt, I mix and choose, whats on sale, then also on the plate is baby food fruit, I save the meal worms for when I am trying to coax them out of there nest box. I put 3 or 4 omnivore pellets out for them, figure its good for teeth, and so far they don't think much of the glideraid. I am feeding parents and 2 babies who are about 12 weeks oop. Please if anyone thinks I should do different or this is a good feeding chart. Give me your opinion.
Feeding seems to be the biggest question, whats right or wrong, so many new gliders at christmas, folks are begging for answers. I am to new at this to feel I can be of any help.
Thanks to you all for ylour help to us begginers.
