As of now there is a link to a page with safe plants and trees to use for gliders on GliderNet. hopefully this updates and makes complete the links on GliderNet. When you find a safe tree go find a friend with a tree in their garden, check that they aren’t using pesticides then use their tree branches.
: Have you looked in your local pet stores? Some people use
: the manzanita branches that are usually sold for birds these
: usually come with a threaded rod secured into the end that
: fits thru the wire and is attached on the outside with an o ring
: and wing nut. You can safely use birch and cottonwood as well
: as aspen, there are others but this hopefully will give an idea.
