: More of what I am looking for is what you all did when you first got your NEWBORNs? How
: did you get it to bond with you?

: Please help, I have the time and patience, but lack the knowledge.

I ordered my glider from a pet store, They called me as soon as he came in. When I got there they had him in a little pouch. I brought him home in that same pouch and I held him for hours. Every time that I would move he would crab. I gave him 1/2 a grape and he ate all of it and then he went to sleep. When I put him up for the night I didn't take him out of the pouch I put the pouch with him in it in his nest box. The next morning he was still in the pouch so I took the pouch with him in it and I put him inside my shirt (I wore a T-Shirt tucked in and a flannel shirt over that and tucked it in and I put him in between the flannel and the t-shirt)I carried him around like that for 2 weeks straight giving him little treats every now and then. He crabbed at me every time I looked in at him after three days he stopped crabbing and started coming up to check me out. It just takes time and every glider is different, but if you spend a lot of time with your glider I bet you will see a big improvement in your baby's attitude. After it is bonded to you then the playing will start. My husband comes in the room where we are at every morning and he is always wearing his baseball cap, Marco will go through the little opening in the back of the cap and play on top of my husbands head and every time the cap usually ends up on the floor. Good luck!
