It is food. I didn't suggest it should be fed by itself though. Like I said, its meant to simulate their need for nectar.
Rep Cal need not be added to leadbeater's if you give it to them separately. Its easier to know exactly how much they are getting that way.

: Actually, Gliderade is a dietary supplement. Please, don't try to feed your gliders Gliderade only. You can add it to the normal diet. I add it to the fruits in the powder form or offer it as a drink (1 part powder to 5 parts of water) once a while, especially if i think my little ones are stressed.
: Leadbitters recipes, however, usually require Rep-Cal.
