Jane and Tim,
Thanks for the support. I thought it was obvious that I wasn't "whining". I wanted other people to know that it's dangerous for the glider to be sold too young. If a baby still needs its mother, that's all there is to it. We may be able to give them what they need, but we are not a substitute for nature. I think problems like these (gliders being sold too young) need to be known. I wanted to make sure that no one had to go what I had to go through with the loss of my baby glider.

Thanks again, Jane and Tim, for the support. Those of us who take a stand are the ones who really show our love for gliders--- if we didn't love them so much, we wouldn't spend so much time trying to protect them!

: Heather posted very upset by losing her baby glider that should not have been sold as it was too young. That should be made public. Yes breeders have the right to sell babies whenever they want to but it is also true that the problems that occur when that happens should also be made VERY clear so that people can decide whether to buy a glider that young. One thing for certain Tim would never buy a glider that young after lurking so long. Many people that buy glider are naive. I know I was but I learnt, I adapted. but at that stage you are vulnerable to the experienced person.
: Probably a bit more negotiation should have been done but I recommended to Heather not to consider getting a glider form that breeder. She now doesnt approve of the early weaning and should have the right to her money not a replacement. sorry I think you are out of order and Heather should be supported!
: : R said that they said they would giver her
: : another as soon as they had one available. I think the issue here
: : isn't
: : that they Heather got ripped off and was sold something that shouldn't,
: : I
: : think it was just something that happened. This is just part of
: : nature, I
: : lost the baby dragon last night. I just think it was a fact of nature
: : that
: : it died. The issue didn't happen until Heather got on the internet
: : like she
: : had been abused or something. Animals are born and they die. The only
: : issue H had with N&R would have been if they weren't willing to handle
: : it
: : somehow and that wasn't the case. I think the young lady misused a
: : powerful
: : tool in our society. She got on there whining and wanting to get
: : involved
: : in the chat session and ended up bad mouthing good, honest people that
: : didn't deserve that. I am more than a little perturbed about this. I
: : think
: : she would have a snowball's chance at getting this resolved now and
: : rightfully so. When N&R were willing to handle the issue in the best
: : manner
: : I could imagine and then to have their name slandered on the internet,
: : in my
: : opinion, Heather should be spanked.

: : Here, post this on the internet and then find out how she feels about
: : this
: : and if you ask me, she at least did something to deserve the verbal
: : slashing.
