: I was just wondering what all of you do to insure that the 4th of July festivities don't stress your babies out too much. I live pretty close to where they light the towns firework display, and sometimes it can get very loud even inside of our house... which is where they'll be.
: Any suggestions?
: Also, on an off glider topic.... I just had a rather heated debate with some neighbors! Just curious, do all of you in other states have to celebrate the 4th on the 3rd or 5th this year cuz it falls on a Sunday? We do here in UT. and I said it was cuz of the religion in this state. The neighbors said that alot of other places do it too! True? False? Just curious!
: Either way, I hope you all have a fun and SAFE 4th of July weekend! :)

Ms. Shell,
Okay...I have no idea where my post went! If you click on it, a post of Lea's comes up! Go figure! Anyway, I had to comment on the debate with your neighbors. I have lived in Utah all my life and ANY holiday that falls on Sunday is automatically moved to the previous day or the following day. I don't know who authorizes this practice, but I can tell you that no one has ever asked my opinion! The church and state seem to intermingle here quite frequently. That's just my two cents!
