Bribery, Bribery, Bribery!!!
I used to have a little routine where I'd let them out to play and then when it was time for me to go to bed I'd just show them their bowls, they'd jump onto the bowl. Then I could easily put them and their bowls into the cage. Well, it didn't take long to figure out that they were hungry and showed me by giving me glider nibbles (and sometimes bites)!
Now, I feed first... let them eat for awhile and then let them out to play. Sometimes when it's time to go back they'll go right in, other times I must bribe them with a taste of apples and chicken baby food or a half of a pistachio nut! Still, I have to admit, other times I'm such a softy that I'll give in and let them stay out a while longer. Do NOT chase them! This will only make matters worse. Good luck! :)
