you all are lucky, mine pee and poop all over it, plus I do not have sand paper in the how thing, just about a third of it. So it doesnt contain much life for long. But yes, if your gonna use it you do need to watch the length of the nails. I can alsways tell when they are starting to grow again, cause their nails start catching in my clothes and level "mosquito bite" itches on my skin.

: I also use the sandpaper in the Wodent Wheel trick. I only leave mine in there for one night every two to three weeks. Once I forgot to take it out for two days and their nails were too short and they kept sliding off of things! :(
: I felt so bad! Now when I do it I make sure I take it out first thing in the morning with the food! Good Luck!
