I Live in FL, and have 2 gliders. As of March of 98 you no longer have to have
a permit for them. As far as I know you have to have USDA licences to breed and sale
them. I could be wrong about the USDA thing. You might want to call the FL Fish and Game.
The number is 1-800-342-1676. I called to ask and they told me I needed a permit, then after
I filled out all the papers and sent them back I got a letter from them stateing the in March of
98 they no longer were classified as Exotics, and that they didn't need a permit.
