We all have those times when we find ourselves up against this situation, it happens. Some of us don't have anyone we can depend on, like at the last minute we are let down by someone we knew would come through. Just when we thought it was all going to work out fine.
Anyway, this is what I did........
for 5 days
for a pair of gliders:
two bottles of water (incase one didn't operate properly)
1 apple, sliced
4 dates
2 steamed chicken wings
1 whole cob of corn
4 tablespoons of leadbeaters
8 peanuts and some slivered almonds and pinenuts
1/4 cup Brisky's
8 grapes
2 Tbs. dry cat food (in case they ate everyting else)
1 chopped boiled egg
1 celery
1 carrot
and I worried the whole time I was away!
there was left overs when I got home,
and nothing was spoiled but the gliders!!!

: Hey everyone,
: On Thursday we are going to Maine and not coming back till Sunday. I live in Connecticut and I don't know what to do with my glider. We will be on a 25' fishing boat during our days and out at night. Our glider doesn't travel well, and we cannot bring her. Is there anyway I can leave her at home with an assortment of dry food? No one that I know knows how to care for her, and deal with her. She jumps on you when you open the cage and is very affectionate, with licking and the sort. If anyone who is experienced can maybe care for her, I may think about doing that, as a last resort. Please let me know what my options are. Thank you.
