: Does this glider diet seem adequate for daily feeding?

: fresh frozen fruits and vegetables
: mixed with some dried fruits and seeds
: low fat Iams cat food
: Reptocal sprinkled on top twice a week

Rob, your diet is a lot different from mine, but I can't say that it is a bad diet. I have heard something about cat food causing inestinal blockage in gliders, but there are people that use it, personally, I wouldn't chance it. I give mine protein in the form of crickets, skinless cooked chicken breast, cooked turkey and boiled egg. I also fed fruits, veggies, fruit juice, leadbeaters mix and gliderade( twice a week). Here's a great page to check out that has alot of diet Info. http://www.angelfire.com/nb/sugarglider/dietc.aspl

: Also I have a question about the RepCal. Everyone seems to be using this over the other varities such as Reptocal. What exactly is the difference and is the Reptocal okay to use instead?

I use RepCal myself, I have never used Reptocal, I think thats the one with added Phosphorus, the added phosphorus counteracts the calcium and does the glider no good at all. I have always heard that the RepCal with added D3 is the best to use because it has no added Phosphorus. Hope this helps you! (T.J.)

: Thanks,
: Rob
