Hi everyone: I've had Runtley a.k.a runtlett for 11 1/2 months and I just love him! however just have a question for anyone who has an answer, I've spent many hours reading, talking, and singing to him however, he is not very hand friendly. He will hand feed and let me pet him but try and get him out of that cage -- forget it -- so i guess I'm looking for suggestions. Alot of the reading and books I own tell me that this process "should occure in the first 3 months" is it possible that my pal would preferr non-touching humans and is this o.k. I will keep up talking alot to as he does come to the side of his cage while I talk or read to him
