Sugar gliders do have very sharp nails for their safety.they use them to hold on. It could possibly happen to damage your eye by their nails, but so could any sharp objects. I let mine crawl on my face and have never had a problem. To me, its carelessness if this does happen.OR a fast accident incident. I think anyone in there right mind would avoid it if possible.
