My thought would be yes.....some territorial animals mark there territory via urine or scent! And it seems that since he was the first one there and im sure marked his territory that now he is defending it and does not want her in it (until bed time), If you build a bigger cage or one of the same size with no scents already there then they both will have time to get acclimated together! anyway good luck!

: I have been trying to introduce my gliders (as many of you know, due to previous posts)for approx. the past 3 months. With no success. I had my male for several months before getting my female. He hates her and terrorizes her when they are in the cage togeather (his cage). They sleep well all day togeather in the nesting box, no problems. When they are out of the cage, they play fairly well. When they are in the cage, it is WW3. He does that war cry and attcks. I am at my wits end as many of you know. I am trying to get a new, bigger cage. For the $ I am able to spend, I can't find a suitable cage that I know they would like and am entertaining the idea of making one myself. The question is...do you think that once I get this new, bigger cage - the fighting will stop? Any thought on this idea? I am running out!
