First let me say that you really shouldn't leave them alone at all.If you can, so some reading or watch t.v. while they play. I left mine alone for (went to the restroom) and my glider was in the cage with my chinchilla. Not good. But anyway, they love to explore so any second could be dangerous. Put child-proof plugs in outlets, seal up any finger holes, check around window seals, screens, sweep out under your bed, closet, cracks filled, towels under doors, no candy or choc. laying around(I have children), I wrapped all my wires to my phones, t.v., stereo, ect.with insulation tube like thing. You can use black tape or something to cover the wires incase of chewing, I also have tie-backs to lesson the length of wires, make sure you have no harsh chemicals for cleaning your room. They like to lick. I used to wash my floor(wood) with bleach, but now I just use real lemon juice mixed w/water.And for furniture too. No chemicals for pests or traps, de-con(sp)"rat poision. There isnt much you can do for couches and ect. but check them before you sit if you can't find your glider.
Hope these can help,
Brienna
: I need some help with glider-proofing. I'd like to
fix my room to the point where I could let my glider
out to play even if I am not going to be in the room
for a few minutes. Right now, I'm so worried she'll
hurt herself, or hide out somewhere where I can't
find her that I keep a CONSTANT eye on her while
she's running around the room-- and I mean literally
CONSTANT!!!

: Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
there's lots of furniture in the room, and I kind of
worry about that... like her going under the bed, or
getting caught up in the mechanism of the chair...

: Please help if you can!

: Thanks :)
