It sounds like you're doing very well with her so far. The fact that she'll get on your hand in the cage is a good sign, as well as the fact that she doesn't bite you when you wake her up, and rarely crabs. You're doing the right things, you just need to keep working with her. When you wake her up during the day, always have a little bit of some kind of treat on your finger. You want her to associate you with good things. And just do the same thing to get her to come out and play with you. Lure her out with treats... you said she'll eat on your hand-- so slowly start to pull your hand out of the cage. She'll most likely jump off at first, but she'll stan on longer and longer until she'll finally let you take her all the way out. You're doing the absolute right things... so just be patient, and keep on doing them, and she'll be bonded before ya know it :)
Just keep remembering that these things can take a lot of time, but they're well worth it when the little guys are finally bonded!!
Good luck with your baby :)

: I just got my glider a month ago. My question is, how do I
: know that I am spending enough time with her? She is about
: 3 months OOP, she eats and drinks well, plays in her little
: jungle jim cage we made for her, and is very friendly. She
: will eat and climb on my hand, but she doesn't seem to trust
: me as much outside of the cage. We play with her each night
: when she wakes up, and also each morning. I usually wake her
: up at least 2 or 3 times a day just hoping it will help her
: get use to us. I have never had her bite, she will crab a
: little one out of ten times when I wake her. Does she seem
: like she is doing ok? I got her from friends with the parents
: and they seen her last weekend, and she is better adjusted
: than their two. Thanks, and sorry it is so lengthy. What else
: can I do to make her people adjusted on the "outside"?
