: : My sincerest condolences to you on your loss. You can be 99% sure that the neglect of your pet sitter (ie. lack of proper diet and water)had alot to do with the death of your female -- especially since she was pregnant and in need of higher quantities of protien, not to mention the fact that with the babie nursing her, she dehydrated much faster than she normally would have. In regard to your male -- he is so used to having a companion of his own species that he may well die of lonliness, particularly since he doesnt have a good bond with you. I most seriously recommend that you get him another female soon. Because he is an adult with adult male with adult male urges, I think that an adult female, rather than a baby or juvenile would be advisable. Again, my condolences on your loss. Sincerel, Tammy H
