Don't worry yet!!! At 4 weeks I don't think my glider, Nigel, would get out of the cage, and he stayed behind furniture when he was out. It does get really frusterating, but be patient! Nigel came around slowly. Nigel has been with me now for about 7 months and I have to pry him off of me when I put him back in his cage! Try reading to your glider in the evenings. Nigel became facinated with me when I did it, he would get up, perk his ears up and listen.
