I wouldn't give them cat food... Every site I've seen on the care of sugar gliders has recommended NOT to feed them cat food. If you want to give them something crunchy, try some raw veggies, like carrots or celery or broccoli.
The meat that is usually in cat foods are too high in fat for the gliders to process, because they aren't used to fat in their diet, especially complex fats like in lamb, pork, beef, etc. The diet you have described sounds right on the money for their needs. I like Glider.net for the info they share.

Good luck to you!

: Hi all,
: I have my gliders *WIdg & Gizmo* on a pretty good diet but I was wondering if I should start feeding them cat food or something because all they have is their glider goo, fruits and veggies, and 2 mealworms everyday. *Reptivite and Bone Aid is in the glider goo* I feel like I should be giving them some kind of hard food for their teeth or something. They only eat about 2 spoonfuls of mixed fruits and veggies and then 1 spoonful of glider goo and I feel their aren't getting enough but they appear to be healthy. And, if I should give them cat food would IAMS cat food lamb and rice be ok for them? Thanks ya'll and sorry for the novel.
