Both of my gliders are done the same way.I was told that it was due to their small size and that the sack will eventuallly resend as the get older.I was also told that they were done this way to avoid chewing themselvs open, since gliders are notorious for doing this. You couldn't even see that they were stitched.They'll be fine. Mine are doing great and they were done in August.

: Well, my boy is home safe and sound! He came right to me and I gave him a mealworm. He still looks a little...err... stoned! I am a bit concerned about how they did the procedure. Jane, maybe you can help me out with this one.
: They did it the way that leaves the pom-pom (just looks deflated) Betsy told me never to let them do it this way but then I remember you saying that one of yours was done this way? Shhh... nobody tell Betsy! hehehe

: Hubby said the vet told him that we have a very healthy boy and Bourbon, you will be pleased to know that we also got an A+ for his diet! None of the nurses wanted him to leave, they all love gliders and said they are some of their favorite patients. So all in all it was all pretty painless (for me) except for that $95.00 bill! OUCH!
