I didnt see them until I picked some pellets up in my hands and saw bugs literally COVERING the palm of my hands(YUCK)! I know they didnt come from my house because I keep my Briskys accu-feed and corn powder in sealed containers, I put it in the container as soon as the shipment arrives at my door(Briskys ships the accu-feed in a plastic bag in a cardboard box). I've had this food for about 2 1/2 months, last couple times I had no probs with keeping the food for 4 mos(by then it was eaten already)!I then took a closer look to find that the pellets had holes through them! OMG- I feel so stupid for not seeing this sooner, my poor little gliders. I've never had a problem with Briskys before, but this is enough.

The accu-feed should be stored in a cool dark place. It has a shelf life of 6 months and freezer life of one year. It should be put into an air tight container once it arrives. It should not be left sitting in a bag or box where bugs can get to it. I bag mine up in zip lock bags and store it in canisters as soon as it arrives.
