I just found out that the new joey I was to bring home in 2 weeks is not doing well. She is only 1/3 the size of her brother. The breeder told me that she is expecting 2 more joeys any day now & I should wait & she will give me top priority.
I am thinking about asking her if I can have the little girl anyway. I know I will be dedicated to getting her well. The thing is that I am kind of attached to this baby emotionally since I have been along for the ride throughout the pregnancy. So I might talk to the breeder again & see if I can get her and one of the Joeys that is on its way. maybe she will even cut me a break on price. I know it sounds silly to want a sick baby. But I have bought all these new toys and picked a name and bought a new fabulous cage just with her in mind.

Should I just wait and get the healthy one? Get both? Help!
