Is he neutered?
How much time do you spend with him per day? Is he pocket trained? Do you carry him with you when you have the time? If you spend a lot of time with him he will be just fine by himself ,if not he probably needs a companion. Is he biting and drawing blood? I've had my male glider for 1 1/2 years and just recently introduced a female to him, he was very sweet and he would sleep in my hand, now I can't get near him without him biting repeatedly and drawing blood with every bite. Your male might be fine with a mate, I've heard that some even calm down, but some also get really mean and protect their mate. Some say getting them neutered calms them down and stops alot of their marking, but thats not always the case, some stay mean even after being neutered. Good Luck with your decision! If I had it to do over again, I would have just continued to spend 6 hours a day with him and I would not of got him a mate. (T.J.)

: I have had Gizmo, our male sugarglider for a year now. We take him out of his cage every day and he still likes to nibble on your fingers. So much so that our daughter, whom we bought him for, has lost interest. Should I get him some company? Any other suggestions? I also would like to know how to control the fowl smell of his urine. Any suggestions there? Thanks...
