the difficulties of gliders being illegal is not just getting one it is permanently caring for one. You have to find a vet that will not turn you in, you do not discuss your pet in public, do not take it anywhere etc etc. Please think VERY hard about getting an illegal pet especially such a delicate pet that will almost definitely need vet care sometime in its fifteen year life.
