I have made several pouches for my gliders. What i do is sew them myself. If you know how to sew it's really easy. Just buy some fleece from the local craft store. And use pipe cleaners to hold the pouch to the cage. Well, i'll tell you what my cage setup is like...maybe that will help you some... In the cage for my gliders I have several toys that most would deem to be bird toys...I made them out of hemp and large wood beads. They also have 2 large branches and 4 smaller branches. A rope to climb on which is actually one of those dog pull toy ropes..but they love it!!! Just use your imagination to create the cage and i'm sure it will turn out great!!! Just remember gliders like to climb and think of things of that nature to put in there for them to play with. i also have a hamster ball that I put my gliders in for some exercise...but I have to be really cautious about it since I also have a toddler in the house!
As for getting them to come out earlier...is the room you keep them in pretty dark early?? if not try to cut the lights back sooner which may encourge them to come out earlier. And you could also get them out and work with them earlier than the time they come out.
Good luck with your glider..
I plan to post a picture of my gliders' new cage that Mike helped to build (actually he did the majority of the work!!!) when i get some film to take the picture :)
