this is an issue that could go any way at all. you already know what to watch for, I respect that, cause that means you have done your research.
Yes the dominant female may eat or kill the other joeys, but then again, maybe not. As for removeing Dad or separating mothers, well you shouldn't do that. The dads play a very big part in raising the joeys and caring for them. So you see I can't answer that, as neither can anyone else really, all we can say is that yes the possibility exists. You are watching the food rations, therefore you must know that there must be plenty of food for everyone. You asked about dad taking care of both sets of joeys, somewhere you had already read that. Dave you are doing the best you can, now it is up to them, just watch and see what happens...Then YOU will know for sure. Good luck, and keep us posted..
