Elwin is right. My Penelopi does not wake up until 10:30-11pm CST. I have found that it is best to wait until they get up on there own to play with then, rather than waking them up because you are ready! Good luck, hope that helps. -Penelopi's Mom

: : Hello I am seriously looking in to gettting a SG!!!!Rah,but i have one major question.Do they sleep during the day?I want to know first before getting a sugar glider i want to know if i will be able to get it up and really about its sleep habits.i wanna know if i have to wake them up at 10:oopm like the guy who tells his story here.
: : please help me with my question!!!!THANKS

: Actually it depends on the glider. I have one female that getsup everynight at 6:30pm CST. Her sister from the same litter will not get up before Midnight.

: This is why it is best to buy from a small private breeder. They know their animals habits and can find a glider who is right for you. I do not recommned taking a glider outside during daylight unless there is complete cloud cover.
