Sounds familiar. It takes time, don't quit yet. I have a male that was very aggressive. We separated him from the other male and I worked with him. Now I can even put my hand in his sleep pouch and cup him without blood being drawn.

The swatch idea is good, talk to her, let her out to play and approach slowly with a treat. It just takes time, patience, etc to build the trust. I'm still not sure when we'll be "bonded" but I can hold Taz, feed him by hand, cup him in the pouch, and even put him in a zipped pocket without losing blood. Not too bad for a few months work. Actually he was much better in a few weeks.
