Hi Emilie,

The only thing that is easy about gliders is that it is easy to fall in love with one of these cute little critters. But, you have to be patient with them I have had My gliders Pookie & PJ for about 6 months. Trust me I have gotten my share of bites. But I never get mad at them you have to have alot of time for your gliders. I take my gliders with me everywhere. Before I go to bed at night I play with them for a couple of hours I feed them fresh friuts and veggies everynight. Gliders don't eat canned food like dogs or cats. You have to make sure that they are getting the right amount of calcium. I had to learn how to handle Crickets and Mealworms with My hands not with tweezers. I learned alot of stuff by reading these Message Boards. Please do not take this as if I don't want you to get a Sugar Glider. I am sure that everyone on this board would love to have a new sugar glider owner on this board just please do research on them first.
