: i have a few questions that i would appreciate anyone
: responding to. first of all, whoever may respond to this are
: you happy with your choice in picking a sugar glider?

Yes, but gliders are not for everyone, You must be dedicated to them, research as much as you can. Find out all the downsides FIRST, don't dismiss them just cause you want one, they are very important. As I see the smell may be a problem.

:also i
: have a question about the odor of a sugar glider. how bad do
: they smell. i ask because i have very limited space and i
: was wondering how bad they smell? is the smell going to be
: overwhelming in a one room space.

Yes untill you learn to feed them properly, clean their cages properly and the timely matter that the cage is cleaned, they will smell.
they have different smells..
1. is a skunking smell and rightfully named.. They do that when they are VERY scared and gosh is it bad..
2. Is the musky smell of the scent marking, this they will do EVERYWHERE and on everything, mine actually saturated his pouch and I constantly kept it washed.. DUH dumb me, he didn't think his marking was working, so he kept doing it stronger.
3. is the urine, if fed properly the urine shouldn't have an odor, however if overfed vits it will smell awful

:is there anything that any of you may do in order to reduce their odor? i would
: really appreciate anyone responding to this message and
: telling me a little bit about their little pets. thanks to
: anyone who may respond.

Yes spend the time to research, within the research you will find the proper way to do things. I could tell you, but then you will only get my opinion, this is something you should do with MANY users/breeders to find out what has worked for them.
