I really couldn't get a good visual picture of the cage so I don't know if this will work, but what about binder clips?

: I have one male that has learned that trick as well. I now use pipe cleaners from the hobby shop on his cage door and that seems to have worked for me. I have one escape artist better than that however. The door to her cage is quite large so I use four spring latches on her cage. Well she found a way to squeeze herself through the wire of her cage and the wire of her door between two of the spring latches so I added three alligator clips, One between each set of spring latches, this worked for a long time but I found her out of her cage again and sleeping in another pouch hanging in the room. I don't know what I am going to do to keep her confined.
