Yes one of my gliders also had to wear his e-collar for 10 days after his neuter to prevent him from mutilating the site of his surgery. Dale did just fine with his but some gliders will not wear the e-collar. My Bandit would not wear his after having part of his tail amputated. I am sorry that your glider is not happy with the e-collar but if he will wear it, it is best to leave it in place. Just make sure that he is able to eat well and to drink without problem and that his sleeping area is big enough to accomidate his collar.
