Pinky is the baby that I got so young. I wanted to tell everyone that she is doing great. I found a vet in my area and took her in today for a wellness check. hey, I did that for my children at three weeks so why not. Pinky weighed 11 grams. She is eating very well and she just started grooming herself yesterday. She goes everywhere with me, even church. I feel that she is bonded to me. She does not chatter at all when she is with me. She does chatter when I put her back in her cage. She uses me as her tree. She climbs every where now and I really have to watch her. She burrows in my hair all the time. It's a good thing that I don't use hairspray and such!
The vet told me that since she was grooming herself now that I could introduce the leadbeaters diet and meal worms. She told me to cut off the heads of the mealworms. I have been reading many different "diet plans" and am curious to know favorite ones for health of Pinky. There was one diet that used baby food and yogurt. Can you use this diet and exclude mealworms and such? I saw a note on here to go to a link by Maria but I could not find it. Thanks for taking the time to read my message and respond.
