Firstly, your little girl is not old enough to begin breeding and to do so would be putting her life in jeopardy. Secondly, why do you want more babies if you just got your first glider ( who still is a baby) within the last 8 weeks (assuming you waited until she was weaned to buy her). Finally, I live in the same area as you do (by your area code) and there are certainly many gliders in need of homes because of people doing things like that. I should know, all of mine are rescues! I got my first glider a year ago and I do not feel that I have enough knowledge yet to start breeding nor do I think that it is necessary or appropriate because anyone who really cares about the well being of these animals should see that if they have room to give more of these precious creatures homes they should start with the ones who need it most and have been cast aside by irresponsible owners. It sounds to me like you have quite a bit of homework to do first unless of course you are just trying to become a breeder and make money off selling these priceless babies. Additionally, I find it hard to beleive that you have had time in the 2 months you have been a glider owner to get a USDA license to breed. I pray that you will stop and research extensively before proceeding with this type of action and keep the well being of these animals as the first and foremost priority.
