Neutering is an excellent way to go. Would you rather he die of depression since you dont *want* joeys? Thats a whole big thing in itself. If you got him neutered and then bought him a female friend that would be your best shot. He would be neutered(which isnt that big of deal), have a buddy and would not be depressed. See what Im saying?

If you feel that badly about neutering I think you should talk to your vet about the procedure and you'll see its a fairly simple thing.
These are only my suggestions tho, what I think would be the best way to go.
