Get your glider to a vet. Self mutilation is a serious

problem with some gliders. Some gliders leave it out.

This can cause it to dry up and they can not retract it.

Keep KY jelly on it. You don't state where you are but

try to find a vet who is familiar with exotics and sugar

gliders.
