Did you get a male or a female, I think a male since you called it "his" cage. Which ever, when he gets used to his surroundings he won't make such a stink unless something bothers him. Your sweet little creature is capable of creating a stink like a mini skunk. If he really feels threatened he will do this. In his new surroundings, he marks his territory. The tamer he gets, the less he stinks. He will settle in and get his routine, be patient. He might go on you some when you play with him and you might get tired of the mess real quick.......just remember that the more time you spend with him and the tamer he gets the less he will let loose on you.: I got a sugarglider as a gift from my boyfriend. I named him Bandit because he stole my heart as soon as i saw him. We have become good friends in these two days. The only thing that I feel is going to be a problem is the odor. How do you suggest I keep my room from smelling like his cage?
