I have noticed that in some females it harder to bond at first, but later on they bond very tightly. Of course my Cher is an example, but males seen to be more laid back and friendly with everyone(once bonded). Not with all gliders, but thats just what I am seeing.
As already mentioned you can get a male neutered and that will stop his scenting and bald spot on his head. Descented? Well, as far as descenting- thats not exactly right. Neutering takes care of the scent.
I cant say this enough- GET ONE GLIDER AT A TIME. Wanna know why? Read this page- Click here.

Honestly, its more of a myth if you get one glider it will automatically become depressed and die. If you carry it around during the day in a pouch/bra..whatever you're comfy with and play with it for a few hours during the gliders playtime, it will be fine.
