I have a male who will do the same thing from time to time. I think it's just like when someone wakes you from a deep sleep, and you're somewhat disoriented at first. Then you slowly go back to sleep.
Since you're not usually home during the day, your movement around the room will be enough to disturb her sleep.
She'll go back to normal when you go back to work.
