: My little gliders love their Wodent wheel, but I have one problem. It seems that it rattles against the bars of the cage all night long. I have tried using bread/sandwich bag twist ties, but the gliders like to undo them. Does anyone else have this problem? I am open to any and all suggestions. (I am considering using cable ties, but the one problem would be removing them to clean the wheel.)

I have a woodent wheel also. My gliders are about 6 to 7 weeks old, and they love this thing. The problem that I have is that they don't sleep in their nest when it's in their cage. Also, when they stay in the wheel, they pee in it, and sleep in it. So, you can see how yucky this is. LOL Does your wheel have to be attatched to the cage? Mine has a stand. What I do is leave it in the cage while I'm awake, and I might even leave it in a bit longer till I'm "really" ready to fall asleep, and then I take it out. I get up really early so it's not a problem for me to put it back in, in the morning for them to play in it some more. I have a very tall cage, with levels. I have all kinds of other stuff in there too. Branches, Ropes, swings, mirrors, little jingly balls, (like for cats) and little hanging toys. So, they have lots of stuff to keep them busy durring the night. If you can get away with it, this is what works for me. Hope it helps.
