Subject: Mary, Bourbon, (anyone interested): Update...How to introduce??
Posted by Denis on May 18, 2000 at 15:27:01 from 128.176.233.6

I finally gave up trying to let Mary live together with her two adult daughters. As you already said, she just does not accept other female gliders in her "vicinity".
That means, I can´t keep the two male joeys.
I now plan on selling at least one of the male joeys and maybe both females.
For the male, I think, I already found a good home. Someone who already has a female glider wants to buy a companion for her. The female is somewhat older (about half a year old) and I wonder how I and the new owner should begin to introduce the little male to his new partner.
Also, is it even possible to keep such a young glider (I planned to sell him when he´s about 8-10 weeks OOP) with an older female? Will they get along?? I really do not want to sell him into a living situation which is not at least as good as his current one.

Any experiences/advice on this?
