I had a mess of moths and june bugs outside I took Baybe out there to "catch" her own (not recommended. My glider is a special case).. anyway, i put her real close to them and she would turn her head and look at me just as if to say "well mom, aren't you going to catch one for me?" so hubby figured his glider would catch them, so he took his smokey out there, and smokey stuck his nose on it to smell it and it flew away, he reached out to grab it and missed, he looked at dad as if to say" well dad, why did you let it fly away?" but we do catch the man'o'wars, skeeter eaters whatever anyone wants to cal them, and put them in their cage, they are too stupid to close their wings to escape..
