:Howie, Have you tried different kinds of fruit and veggies other than the ones you have mentioned? Sometimes my gliders really like a certain fruit one day and the next they won't touch it. They seem to like a bit of variety.
Same holds true with their protein sources.
As for as the closet is concerned, the sun is an important source for Vitamin D which promotes a healthy immune system for all living things. Not to say put the gliders in the direct sunlight but they do need some sunlight.
Good luck to you and your gliders. Don't let the harse ways that some of the advice has been given to you upset you. They mean well and they know what they are talking about.

Kim,

: I put them in a close by my room where they usually are so they do not get bothered from TV and people coming in and out of my room. I live in the basement and my Gliders have realy ever seen real sunlight becuase of cats upstairs would make lunches out of them or drive the crazy trying to get them. I feed them fruit (apples, pears, catalope, grapes, and mangos) and Parrot mix and some cat food that they do not like. They love peanuts and magos the best. They are picky eaters and I have tried more items, but than they refuse it and eat just the parrot mix. Usually they eat the Parrot mix when they don't like the fruit I try to give them.
