Okay, sorry about that last bogus thing, here is my message.

Gliders are illegal in California because they are exotic animals, and California just has stricter laws about letting exotics in the state borders. It's illegal to both own and breed. You could probably go out of state and buy one and bring it/them back, but keep in mind that you won't be able to find a vet who handles exotics, and if you do, they are obligated to report you for owning an illegal exotic, and you could get fined pretty heavily from what I understand. Is it really worth the health of your gliders? I'm betting you are an animal lover, and wouldn't do that to them.

: Does anyone out there know why gliders are illegal in CA? are they just illegal to breed? own? both? if i go out of state to buy them and come back could I get in trouble for it? if they get sick will taking them to the vet become a problem?
