: 1. Are there any things that they specifically should not eat?
SAM-They cannot have ONIONS..they are considered poisonous, and they cannot have Lima Beans.
Dairy products should be watched.

I feed mine a variety of fruitspeaches, cantalope, apples, oranges, bananas etc.
I also feed them a variety of veggies..corn, carrots, peas, sweet peas, string beans, sweet potatoes, broccoli, caulieflower etc.
they cost about $4.00 for like 5 pounds>
As well as the mixed bag of fruit for $6.00 for a 5 pound bag also frozen and from Sams Club.

: 2. How old do they have to be before they can run around in a hampster ball?Hamster balls are kinda dangerous, as they can get their nails caught in the vent holes and may rip them out.
You will want to really watch them close if you allow them to run around in one.
When you say run around in one, is it that you want to let them out in the house to run, or put it in his cage?
If it is in the house you will also need to be sure he does not roll down any stairs, or that the cator dog does not get the ball.

: 3. Will watching the televison with him around hurt his ears? (It does not seem to bother him, he just keeps on sleeping)
Watching TV with him near you will not hurt him, unless of course you have him on the TV and it is full blast.

: Also if you have any exra advise that you think would be helpful, I would appreciate it.

I will let the others also give you their advise
GOOD LUCK!!

Jacque
