Thank you so much! Can you give me any more information about the fair? Date? Location? I would really appreciate it! :)

: : Hi :) I have been researching sugar gliders as pets for a few months now and have decided to get one. I am going to be moving in August, so I think it would be best if I waited until after the move to get one, but thought I could start searching now. I have learned everything i can and can't wait to love a cute little sugar glider! I've searched the net and found some breeders in Florida, but I would like to explore the possibility of adpoting a sugar glider in need. I can't seem to find much information about sugar glider rescue or shelters in my area. I would be very grateful if anyone could help me in my search. I am living in Gainesville Florida, but I am willing to travel anywhere in Florida or southern Georgia, and would like to donate the money I was planning to use to purchase a sugar glider from a breeder to the shelter or rescue group I adopt from. The money is definitely more needed there. I also had a few questions about my fist sugar glider. I realize that being a first time owner an abandoned or abused sugar glider may not be the best choice for myself or the sugar glider. I have no experience with sugar gliders. I only know what I have read. I was thinking I could adopt a sugar glider that came from a more loving background and was given to the shelter for other reasons. I think that would be better for both of us. I would not want to give insufficient care to an especially needy sugar glider. I would just like to know if these assumptions are correct. Please tell me what you think! I am completely open to suggestions. I also have two dogs. They are both outdoor and indoor, reasonably trained dogs. I would like to know if that's ok. I was planning on leaving the dogs outside when I was not home, or when the sugar glider was out, and didn't really see any problems that would create. If you know of any reason that I should not get a sugar glider while I have the dogs PLEASE tell me. If you have any other information about being a first time sugar glider owner you think I should know, please share with me! I would love to know all I can about these wonderful creatures! :) You can e mail me at ufg8tors78@aol.com or hollymc99@yahoo.com. Thank you so much for your time and input!
